Tutorial! How to Remove Stubborn Contact Paper
We're excited about our first tutorial! Part of our kitchen update is to repaint our cabinets, including the inside. The previous owner lined all of the cabinets and drawers with contact paper which was a b*tch for us to take off. After scraping and picking off contact paper from 10 boards, we discovered a technique that speeds up the removal process and eliminates the need for scraping and picking!

Oh wow. That looks tedious. Another way..a wetter way..is to put 1 part vinegar and mix it with 2 parts water. Heat it up until it's warm and then spray it on the contact paper. Then you can just rip it right off. :) The vinegar dissolves the adhesive.
